Wednesday May 25^th at Zen Zero: Raw potluck (6pm sharp) and free presentation by Carmella on ‘How to Successfully Transition to and Maintain The Raw Diet’ (begins at 7:15 pm).

Saturday May 28^th, 1- 4:00 pm (location to be confirmed): Raw Vegan Food Prep Workshop with Carmella.

Learn how to prepare : Green Cucumber Soup, Un-Tuna Salad, Spinach & Cream Pasta Casserole, Blueberry Shortcake and Fruit ‘n Nut Chocolate Candy.

Cost : Sliding scale of $45 to $55 (includes demo, food samples and recipe hand out)

Weekly Raw Potlucks

Once a week we gather for an informal raw vegan potluck. Here we can socialize with others exploring the raw vegan lifestyle, partake of delicious food, and, depending where we are on our raw path, find the support we might need to stay on track. We exchange recipes, information, our successes and perhaps even our slip ups. Everyone is welcome.

(corner of Fifth & England, downtown Courtenay)
Start at 6 pm – doors open at 5:30 pm

Please bring to share with others a (vegan)* dish unprocessed by heat or chemicals: fruit, veggies, greens, nuts,
seeds, sprouts &/or sprouted grains.

*Vegan means free of all animal products, including dairy, eggs, gelatin & bee products like honey.

Dr. Ruza to talk at this week’s Raw Potluck!

Naturopathic Doctor, Dr. Ruza Bogdanovich, visiting from her new home in Croatia, will give a talk following the weekly raw potluck this Wednesday, October 7th, at ZenZero. Dr. Bogdanovich is the author of “The Cure is in The Cause” and “Love Your Pet Let Nature Be The Vet”. Dr. Ruza has made it her life’s work to show people the truth of cause and effect according to Nature’s laws – how it is possible to achieve optimum health through recognizing simple truths. “The body does its own healing given the right opportunity and by removing the true cause of disease.”

Everyone is invited to share in a raw vegan potluck, the food of health and healing, to be followed by Dr. Ruza’s talk. The potluck begins at 6 p.m. (doors open at 5:30). Dr. Ruza will talk at 7:30.
