There will be a Vegan Bake Sale fundraiser at Zen Zero on Saturday October 16th from 1 – 5pm with all proceeds going to send Tara, a local animal rights activist, to Taiji Japan to help stop the massive Dolphin slaughter that takes place there from September thru March.
There will be a large assortment baked goods for sale with everything from your traditional wheat flour to gluten free and even some unbaked raw treats. Everything will be Vegan. Following the bake sale there will be a 5pm screening of the movie
The Cove in the newly renovated multi purpose room in Zen Zero. Everything is by donation and whatever money is raised will help send Tara to Japan to be a part of the effort to stop this senseless slaughter of thousands of dolphins and whales in Japan. Please check out her
BLOG for further details.
Please spread the word and come show support for Tara, buy some yummy baked goods and stay for the movie if you like. Every little bit counts.
